We are looking for an enthusiastic family physician to join our faculty in a leadership role as The Associate Program Director of Quality and Patient care. The Associate Program Director oversees all quality processes to assure the highest quality of care is provided by the Family Medicine faculty, fellows, residents, and staff. This candidate will assume a leadership role with the Program Director in setting the strategic direction of the program, and provide oversight of faculty in specified areas of quality and patient care. Our graduating residents have a 100% certification pass rate. Our program offers strong balanced training, stable faculty, and excellent support from our institution. Located in a diverse urban-suburban setting in a near western Chicago suburb, our 12-12-12 community-based university-affiliated program has three fellowships and is dually accredited. Spanish speaking skills are a plus, but not a requirement. 1. Teaching and administrative experience in a family medicine residency program are highly desirable. Additional preparatory instruction (ex. NIPPD or ACPE, previous attendance at RPC or PDW conferences) is advisable. 2. Must hold an appointment in good standing with the medical staff of MacNeal Hospital. 3. Possession of unrestricted permanent Illinois physician license and controlled substance license. Valid DEA certificate. 4. Current board certification of APFM or equivalent. Recent graduates of residency need to be board eligible and take the ABFM exam or equivalent within 6 months of graduation from residency. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package.
