We are seeking a highly qualified Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiologist for a locum tenens position near Blue Eye, MO. This role is ideal for a board-certified physician specializing in endovascular procedures who is looking for an ongoing opportunity to provide critical care in a dynamic setting. The position offers flexible call coverage and the chance to work closely with a dedicated stroke team.


Position Overview:



  • Specialty: Neurology - Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • End Date: Ongoing

  • Practice Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient

  • EMR System: Epic


Job Responsibilities:



  • Coverage Type: Call Only

    • Call Schedule:

      • Provide on-call coverage for 7-12 days per month.

      • Call hours are from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM, ensuring continuous care and availability.



    • Procedures:

      • Focus on endovascular procedures, particularly "coiling."

      • Collaborate with a skilled stroke team to deliver high-quality care.






Candidate Requirements:



  • Licensure:

    • Must be licensed in Missouri.



  • Certifications:

    • Board Certification: Required in Neurology or a related specialty.

    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications are mandatory.

    • ABLS, ATLS, and PALS are not required.



  • Experience:

    • Expertise in endovascular surgical neuroradiology with a focus on advanced procedures is essential.

    • Fellowship training in a relevant subspecialty is preferred but not required.



  • Credentialing:

    • Estimated credentialing timeframe is approximately 90 days.

    • Temporary privileges are available for qualified candidates.
