Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive urological care to inpatients and outpatients.
- Conduct thorough evaluations, develop treatment plans, and perform necessary urological procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team, including nurses and other physicians, to optimize patient care.
- Manage call coverage and respond to patient needs outside of scheduled hours.
- Participate in admissions as needed.
- Round on inpatients to ensure their needs are met.
Qualifications for Success:
- Board certification in Urology by the American Board of Urology (ABU).
- Valid Missouri medical license to practice medicine without restrictions.
- Current certification in BLS to demonstrate your commitment to patient safety.
- Experience with both inpatient and outpatient urology is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
- The ability to thrive in both independent and collaborative work environments.
