What You'll Do:
- Conduct comprehensive consultations and examinations for adult patients with urological conditions in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for a variety of urological issues, including urinary tract infections, kidney stones, prostate problems, and urinary incontinence.
- Perform a variety of urological procedures, including laparoscopic surgery, cystoscopy, ureteroscopy, and prostate biopsies.
- Manage patients pre-operatively, intra-operatively, and post-operatively.
- Collaborate with nurses, mid-level providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in the Epic electronic medical record system.
Who You Are:
- Board-certified in Urology.
- Current and active license to practice medicine in South Carolina (SC).
- Willing to obtain a temporary license if needed.
- Strong clinical skills and experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of adult urological conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Proficient in advanced endoscopic techniques, including ureteroscopy.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptability and flexibility to work a variable schedule, including weekdays, nights, and weekends.
- ACLS, BLS, and DEA certifications are required.
- Prior experience with robotic surgery and Holmium laser is a plus.
