Seeking Compassionate and Skilled OB/GYNs for Outpatient Care


Are you a dedicated and experienced Obstetrician-Gynecologist (OB/GYN) passionate about women's health? We're searching for two qualified physicians to join our team in a growing community near McGregor, ND. This ongoing locum tenens opportunity offers a predictable Monday-Friday clinic schedule (8:00 am - 5:00 pm), with no on-call responsibilities, starting as soon as possible (ASAP).


Responsibilities:



  • Deliver comprehensive outpatient care to women across all stages of life, focusing on preventive care, well-woman exams, and gynecological concerns.

  • Conduct routine gynecological examinations, including Pap smears, breast exams, and STI testing.

  • Manage a variety of gynecological conditions, such as menstrual irregularities, contraception counseling, and menopause management.

  • Provide prenatal care and pregnancy counseling for low-risk pregnancies in collaboration with Dr. Teuma, a family physician with obstetrical experience.

  • Educate and empower patients on preventative healthcare measures, healthy lifestyle choices, and sexual health.

  • Collaborate effectively with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records within the electronic medical record system (specific system not mentioned).


Qualifications:



  • Active and unrestricted North Dakota (ND) medical license is required. The client will consider International Medical Graduates (IMGs) with a Letter of Qualification (LOQ) in hand.

  • Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is mandatory.

  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and a valid DEA registration are required.

  • Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical OB/GYN setting, preferably with a focus on outpatient care, is preferred.

  • Strong clinical judgment, decision-making skills, and a comprehensive knowledge base in obstetrics and gynecology.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and healthcare teams.

  • Demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting.
