We are seeking a skilled Urology Physician for a locum tenens position near O'Brien, OR. Key Responsibilities:




  • Outpatient Clinic:



    • Provide comprehensive urological care in a busy outpatient clinic setting.

    • See an average of 30 patients per shift, addressing a wide range of urological conditions and ensuring high-quality patient care.

    • Work four days a week in the clinic (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday), with Tuesdays dedicated to performing surgeries.




  • Inpatient Care & Call Coverage:



    • Offer inpatient care as needed, with full privileges required at the associated hospital or surgery center.

    • Provide on-call coverage for seven days each month, offering 24-hour availability from 7 am to 7 am.

    • The on-call duties will involve both day and night responsibilities, with night call duties compensated at a different rate if called in.




  • Surgical Procedures:



    • Perform surgeries on Tuesdays, focusing on both routine and complex urological procedures.

    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for surgical patients.




Practice Details:




  • Call Schedule:



    • The provider will cover seven days of call each month. If two providers are needed, each will be responsible for one week of call coverage.

    • The call coverage includes 24-hour availability, but the provider will only be physically on-site for emergencies during night calls.




  • Work Schedule:



    • The assignment offers a structured weekly schedule, allowing for a balance between clinical duties and personal time.

    • Holidays covered include New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.




Requirements:



  • Licensure: Must hold a current Oregon state medical license.

  • Board Certification: Required for this position, ensuring expertise in urological care.

  • Certifications:

    • No additional certifications (ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS) are required for this position.



  • Credentialing:

    • The estimated credentialing timeframe is 30-90 days, allowing for a smooth transition into the role.
