Full-Time Position in a Dynamic Inpatient Team

This full-time position invites a dedicated pediatrician to become part of a collaborative team, working alongside one pediatric hospitalist and five outpatient pediatricians. Embrace a 7 on 7 off schedule, providing a balance between patient care and personal time.


Position Details:



  • Position Type: Full-time, offering stability and professional growth.

  • Inpatient Team: Join a team of one pediatric hospitalist and collaborate with five outpatient pediatricians, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.

  • Scheduling: Enjoy a schedule of 7 on 7 off, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.

  • Responsibilities: Engage in rounding on all pediatric inpatients and newborns in the hospital, with 24-hour availability for inpatient needs.

  • Level I Nursery: Work in a Level I Nursery, contributing to the care of newborns without a NICU or PICU.

  • Annual Births: Contribute to an average of 750+ births per year, participating in the care of a diverse patient population.

  • Daily Census: Manage an average pediatric inpatient daily census ranging from 1-5 patients.

  • Educational Involvement: Collaborate with a Family Medicine Residency Program, contributing to educational initiatives.

  • Community Call: Provide call coverage within the community, ensuring comprehensive pediatric care.


Qualifications:



  • Board Certification: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics.

  • Experience: Open to newly trained fellows and practicing pediatricians, fostering professional growth.

  • Licensure: Possess an Indiana Medical License.

  • Certifications: Maintain BLS/ACLS certifications to ensure patient safety.
