An exciting locum tenens opportunity is available for a Board-Certified Critical Care Pulmonologist near Winston-Salem, NC. This role offers the chance to provide essential critical care support while working alongside a highly skilled team. The position is ASAP - Ongoing, providing flexibility in scheduling.


Key Details:



  • Position: Critical Care Pulmonology (Locum Tenens)

  • Location: Near Winston-Salem, NC

  • Shift Schedule:

    • Night Shifts: 12 hours, from 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

    • Coverage Type: Scheduled shifts, no call responsibilities



  • Block Schedules: Not available, flexible coverage provided


Practice Setting:



  • Hospital-based with access to a wide range of medical services and technology

  • On-site Support: Critical Care APPs and eICU coverage to assist the locum physician

  • EMR System: EPIC is used for charting and patient management

  • Vaccination Policy: No COVID-19 vaccine requirement, but flu shot is mandatory during flu season


Patient Information:



  • Patient Demographics: Primarily adult patients

  • Average Daily Census: Varies depending on patient needs

  • Procedures: Standard pulmonary critical care procedures


Job Requirements:



  • Board Certification: Critical Care Pulmonology (BC required)

  • Licensure: Must have a valid North Carolina medical license

  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and DEA are mandatory

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a critical care setting
