Locum Tenens CRNA Opportunity Near Eugene, OR
We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens to permanent position near Eugene, OR. This role is perfect for experienced CRNAs looking for a collaborative environment where they can practice independently while working alongside a dedicated team of physicians and CRNAs. Position Details:
- Profession: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Location: Near Eugene, OR
- Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing
- Shift Type: Shifts assigned as discussed in the interview
- On Call Requirements:
- Paid call, shared equitably
- Post-call day off
- Weekend Requirements:
- Weekends are shared among the team
Practice Setting:
- Facility Type: Level III trauma center with high acuity cases
- Catchment Area: Over 320,000 residents
- Operating Rooms: 7 ORs, Endoscopy suite, Cath Lab, nearby Ambulatory Surgery Center
- Cases:
- All types of anesthesia cases except heads and hearts
- Healthy pediatrics only
- Procedures include various types of blocks
- Team Structure: Collaborative group of physicians and CRNAs practicing 100% independently
Work Environment:
- Autonomy: CRNAs are expected to practice independently based on their expertise, state regulations, and facility policies

Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia and related care for a variety of procedures, including general, orthopedic, and pediatric cases
- Independently manage patient care in the operating room, endoscopy suite, and other procedural areas
- Participate in the shared call schedule, including weekend coverage and post-call day off
Requirements:
- Certification: Must be Board Certified as a CRNA
- State License: Active Oregon state license or willingness to obtain
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of CRNA experience required (no new graduates)
- On-Call Availability: Willingness to participate in the equitable call schedule
- Professional Skills: Independent practice in line with state regulations and facility policies
