We are seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine Cardiologist for a locum tenens position near Philadelphia, PA, starting ASAP and continuing on an ongoing basis. This role involves covering both daily rounds and call shifts at two hospitals within the region.

• Support Staff: 5 Cardiology Providers, RN, MA, PA/NP, Office Staff

Requirements:

• Board Certification: Required


• State License: Pennsylvania (No out-of-state licenses accepted)

• Fellowship: Required


• Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days


• Experience: Proficiency with Epic EMR and experience in TEE, Nuclear Stress Test, and Echo reading required

• Patient Population: Adults (18 years and older)


• Procedures Required: TEE, Nuclear Stress Tests, Echoes, and general cardiology procedures


• Workload: Includes phone consultations (1-2 daily), weekend rounding, and night call. Average hospital census is around 20-25 patients per day.
