We are actively seeking highly motivated and experienced Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our team on a locum tenens basis. You will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality care to patients experiencing a wide range of medical emergencies in our modern and well-equipped emergency department. Working alongside a dedicated team of nurses, technicians, and other healthcare professionals, you'll ensure timely and effective interventions for every patient who enters our doors.

The ED Experience

• Advanced Technology: Experience the benefits of working with cutting-edge equipment, including on-site x-ray, CT scans (with and without contrast), and readily available ultrasound support (24/7 on-call with a 30-minute response time).


• Dedicated Trauma Room: Be prepared to handle critical injuries with a fully equipped trauma room designed for optimal patient care.


• Manageable Patient Volume: Maintain a manageable patient load with an average of patients per hour, allowing you to focus on providing exceptional care to each individual.


• 24/7 Physician Coverage: Guarantee uninterrupted patient care with physician coverage around the clock.


• Efficient Workflow: Benefit from a streamlined workflow with 12 private exam rooms to ensure patient comfort and confidentiality during evaluations.


• On-Site Laboratory Services: Access on-site laboratory services for prompt test results and informed treatment decisions.

Who You Are

• Board certified in Emergency Medicine (BC/EM) or board certified in Family Medicine/Internal Medicine (BC/FM or BC/IM) with a minimum of 3 years of direct emergency department experience.


• Active Florida medical license is mandatory.


• Current certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are required.


• A passion for emergency medicine, a commitment to providing exceptional patient care, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential.


• You possess strong clinical skills and experience managing a diverse range of medical emergencies.


• Excellent decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills are necessary for making critical decisions under pressure.


• Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills are crucial for interacting with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
