Job Overview:




  • Part-Time Schedule: Enjoy a traditional part-time schedule with no weekend or holiday commitments, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.




  • Call Responsibilities: Engage in an average of one night call every other week, ensuring comprehensive infectious disease coverage.




  • Outpatient Volume: Manage an average outpatient volume of 10-12 patients per day, focusing on quality care delivery.




  • Collaborative Environment: Work collaboratively with our inpatient Infectious Disease Physicians and Nurse Practitioners within the Indiana Infectious Disease Department.




  • General ID Services: Provide general Infectious Disease services in a community setting, collaborating with various surgical and medical specialties, including Cancer Center, Cardiovascular Surgery, Orthopedics, full Interventional Radiology, Cardiology, and Gastroenterology.




  • Comprehensive Facility Services:



    • Infusion Center onsite.

    • Wound Clinic onsite.

    • Systemwide OPAT (Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy) team.




  • Professional Development:

Qualifications:



  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Infectious Disease.

  • Excellent diagnostic skills, strong communication, clinical excellence, and a focus on patient satisfaction.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within the healthcare team.
