What You'll Do:
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments for patients of all ages within the outpatient setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, focusing on preventative care, chronic disease management, and acute illness treatment.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to facilitate accurate diagnoses.
- Prescribe medications and manage patient medications effectively.
- Provide patient education and counseling on various health topics.
- Document all patient interactions, diagnoses, treatment plans, and interventions thoroughly and efficiently within the NextGen electronic medical records system.
Who You Are:
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree with a national family nurse practitioner (FNP) certification (required).
- Current and active license to practice nursing in New Mexico (only).
- A commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care within a collaborative and team-oriented primary care setting.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities to manage a diverse patient population in the outpatient setting.
