Position Details: Specialties: Nurse Practitioner - Neurosurgery, Physician Assistant - Neurosurgery Department: Neuro Surgery Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call Practice Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient (Both Inpatient and Outpatient Required) EMR System: Cerner Practice Requirements: Certification: Board Certified or Eligible (Minimum) License: Active license in WI (Not Required) Trauma Level: 2 PEDs Level: 3 Experience: Recent Neurosurgery experience, including surgical cases Practice Schedule: 40 hours per week 4 10-hour days for 3 weeks, alternating with 5 8-hour days for 1 week Weekend call every fourth weekend until February 2024, then once every fifth weekend starting in March 2024 Weeknight call once every fourth week until February 2024, then once every fifth week from March 2024 Duties Include: Surgical first assist Bedside procedures Rounding independently in all hospital units Hospital and ER/UC consults Clinic duties, including outpatient consultations, post-operative care, fracture care, and more Supportive Environment: Work closely with two neurosurgeons, supported by four department APCs.
