A healthcare facility near Graytown, Ohio, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its podiatry and wound care team in a permanent role. This position involves working in an outpatient clinic, performing inpatient rounding, and traveling to nearby satellite offices and nursing facilities to support podiatry services.


Position Details:



  • Role Type: Permanent, Full-time

  • Shift Type: Day shifts, Monday-Friday

  • On-Call Requirements: 1:3 phone call rotation (clinic only)

  • Weekend Requirements: No regular weekend shifts


Primary Responsibilities:



  • Provide podiatry and wound care services in an outpatient setting, addressing a variety of foot health and wound-related cases

  • Conduct inpatient rounding and consults within nearby satellite offices and nursing homes, ensuring quality patient care across locations

  • Assist in podiatry surgical procedures and conduct wound care consultations, including interpreting radiographic images

  • Act as a primary clinic resource for the podiatry team, ensuring continuity of care for patients with podiatry needs

  • Autonomously manage clinic responsibilities, including providing coverage as needed for other DPMs


Qualifications:



  • Board Certified NP/PA

  • Current Ohio licensure (or willingness to obtain)

  • At least 2 years of experience in wound care or podiatry preferred; candidates with less experience but a genuine interest in podiatry are encouraged to apply

  • Background in wound care and experience as a surgical first assist preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with high enthusiasm and dedication to patient care
