  • 8 to 5 , Monday thru Friday


Are you an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in Orthopedics seeking a rewarding opportunity? We are seeking Orthopedic Spine Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) for locum coverage starting June 1, 2024, near HAYNESVILLE VA.


Job Details:



  • Schedule: Join us Monday-Friday, 8 - 5

  • EMR: Utilize EPIC, ensuring efficient documentation and coordination of patient care.

  • Trauma Designation: The facility holds a non-applicable trauma designation.

  • Autonomous Work: As an Orthopedic Spine APP, you will work autonomously, with the supervising physician available by phone during the assignment, providing support and consultation as needed.

  • Patient Demographics: Serve a diverse patient population, including adults and geriatrics, providing comprehensive orthopedic spine care.


Required Duties & Procedures:



  • Inpatient Monitoring: Monitor and manage inpatient cases, ensuring optimal recovery and outcomes for orthopedic spine patients.


Certification Requirements:



  • Board Certified (NCCPA or AANP): Certification in your respective field is required to ensure proficiency and competence in providing orthopedic spine care.

  • Active VA License & DEA: Possession of an active Virginia state license and DEA certification is highly preferred. However, we are willing to consider candidates who are currently in the process of obtaining VA licensure, with the requirement that the license must be obtained by June 1.

  • BLS Certified: Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to ensure readiness to respond to emergency situations.
