We are seeking dedicated Neonatology Nurse Practitioners (NPs) for a locum tenens position near Mill City, OR. This urgent need requires a start date as soon as possible, with the role extending indefinitely. The ideal candidates will be able to provide full-time availability, though we are open to multiple providers if necessary.


Position Highlights:

    • PPMC: 10 patients

    • PSV: 22 patients



  • Allowed Holidays:

    • New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day




Practice Details:



  • Board Certification:

    • Must be board eligible in Neonatology



  • License Requirement:

    • Must be licensed in OR



  • Estimated Credentialing Timeframe:

    • 60-90 days



  • Hospital Privileges:

    • Not required



  • Rounding:

    • Not required



  • Hospital Stroke Certification:

    • Yes




Preferred Experience:



  • Neonatology:

    • Experience in Level 3 NICU settings



  • Local Candidates:

    • Preferred, to facilitate flexible scheduling

Job Description:


This locum tenens opportunity is for a Neonatology Nurse Practitioner at Level 3 NICU units near Mill City, OR. The primary facilities see a mix of smaller and more critical patients, with varying intensity between locations. Candidates will work 12-hour or 24-hour shifts, providing critical care to neonatal patients.


The preference is for local candidates to allow for a flexible schedule. However, for those traveling, efforts will be made to provide consecutive shifts to minimize travel costs. NPs will be responsible for patient care, attending deliveries, and performing necessary procedures, with physicians conducting daily patient check-ins.
