We are seeking a dedicated, board-certified or board-eligible physician in Palliative Medicine to join an inpatient team specializing in compassionate, comprehensive palliative care near Roswell, GA. This full-time, permanent position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by providing specialized care to patients in an acute care hospital setting.
Position Overview:
- Role: Inpatient Palliative Care Physician
- Location: Near Roswell, GA
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered palliative care in an inpatient acute care setting.
- Collaborate with a supportive, multidisciplinary team consisting of:
- One experienced palliative care physician
- A dedicated, full-time licensed practical nurse (LPN)
- A full-time licensed social worker
- Assist in managing and growing the inpatient palliative care program, with a focus on holistic, coordinated patient care.
- Engage with patients, families, and the medical team to create personalized care plans aligned with patients goals and quality-of-life considerations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in palliative care program management within an acute care hospital setting.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
Educational Requirements:
- Board certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine (or eligibility for certification) through the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
- Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or General Surgery.
- Completion of a Palliative Medicine Fellowship from an accredited program.
- Active Georgia medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
