• On-Call Requirement: 3:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Overview:

• Average Daily Census: Manage 10-15 CVICU/step-down patients per day, along with 1-2 surgeries.


• Patient Population: Primarily adult and geriatric patients.


• Department: Cardiothoracic Surgery


• Hospital Bed Size: 199 beds


• EMR System: Cerner


• Special Procedures: Proficiency in temporary pacemaker removal, chest tube removal, IABP removal, and A-line placement is required.


• Skills Required: Recent experience in cardiothoracic surgery and proficiency with Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH) are essential.

Requirements:

• Board Certification: Required


• Licensure: Must hold or be eligible for licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in Arizona.


• DEA: Required


• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in cardiothoracic surgery with a strong background in EVH.
