Work Details

• Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: FTE


• Patients Per Day: 25+


• Patient Population/Age: All ages ranging from 18 to geriatric. Insured, noninsured, and private pay.


• Department Description: Ambulatory Thoracic and Esophageal Surgery


• EMR: Cerner


• Technology: Microsoft, Cerner, AMS connect


• Special Procedures: Pulling chest tube, part flushes, S-P drain removal, anticoagulant bridging for perioperative. Staple/Suture removal, general knowledge, chest tube management.


• Skills Required: Respiratory, GI assessments, general knowledge, PET, CT X-rays, managing chest tubes including pulling; spirometry, multitasking.

• Board Certification: Thoracic + Esophageal Surgery


• State License Required: WV


• DEA: Required


• Certifications Preferred: ACLS- AHA


• Certifications Required: BLS; AHA


• Provider Preferences: Good with writing notes and able to have good discharge summaries

Credentialing Timeframe

• 90 days
