Locum Tenens Opportunity: OB/GYN Provider (Surgical Focus) Near McGregor, ND

We are currently seeking a skilled OB/GYN to provide comprehensive clinic coverage with potential for additional OB/GYN call duties. Dates of Coverage:



  • Bid Due Date: FIRST TO FILL

  • 24-hour shifts (7 am - 7 am)


Details:



  • Setting:

    • Inpatient



  • Required Procedures:

    • Vaginal deliveries, C-sections, hyst, tubals, bladder repair, D&C's



  • Schedule:

    • On-call 24 hours a day, rounding on patients, attending deliveries, responding to urgent cases in the ER.



  • PPD (Patients Per Day):

    • Yes



  • Monthly Deliveries:

    • 50-60



  • Admissions Per Day:

    • 1-3



  • Support Staff:

    • Collaborate with Dr. Teuma Family Practice with OB



  • System Applications:

    • Experience with Meditech, Dragon, PACs, eRx - Dr. First, Imprivata Tap and Go is beneficial.




Duties:


OB/GYN duties General Duties include, but are not limited to:



  • (a) Treat patients according to licensure, clinical specialty, and privileges.

  • (b) Prepare and maintain all necessary reports, claims, and correspondence.

  • (c) Attend professional conventions, seminars, and continuing medical education programs.

  • (d) Promote the professional practice of OB/GYN and support the hospital.

  • (e) Provide coverage during unavailability of other physicians.

  • (f) Provide services at designated locations based on patient levels and needs.

  • (g) Cooperate with the hospital in claims, litigation, and credentialing.

  • (h) Supervise mid-levels, nurses, and personnel as required.

  • (i) Participate in hospital credentialing and peer review activities.

  • (j) Accept a proportionate share of after-hours call coverage.

  • (k) Attend to patients in hospitals and other facilities during admissions.

  • (l) Assist the hospital in obtaining and maintaining licenses, permits, and authorizations.

  • (m) Participate in community service activities and charity care.

  • (n) Actively promote services and practice through marketing and community activities.

  • (o) Maintain appropriate records and patient charts in a timely manner.


Qualifications and Application:



  • Certification:

    • Board Certification in OB/GYN is required.



  • License:

    • Active license in ND or willingness to obtain is mandatory.



  • Surgical Focus:

    • Consideration for OB/GYN providers with surgical expertise.



  • Leadership Interest:
