Responsibilities:



  • Provide on-call coverage for emergency services and surgical procedures.

  • Perform a variety of general surgical procedures, including but not limited to:

    • Appendectomies

    • Cholecystectomies

    • Hernioplasties

    • Laparoscopic surgeries

    • Breast surgeries

    • Gastrointestinal endoscopies

    • Vascular procedures



  • Complete post-operative consultations during your shift.


Requirements:



  • Board Certification: Required; must be board-eligible or certified in general surgery.

  • Licensure: Must hold an active medical license in Oregon.

  • Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; other certifications preferred but not mandatory.

  • Experience: Acute care surgery experience preferred.


Schedule:



  • Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts (7 AM - 7 PM or 7 PM - 7 AM)

  • On-call Requirements: Providers will be on call for the emergency department.

  • Support Staff: PA/NP coverage will be available for assistance during daytime and weekend shifts.
