Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide on-call pediatric support to the OB/GYN and ED departments during the last two weekends of August.

  • Conduct phone consultations and offer recommendations for pediatric cases as needed.

  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure appropriate care plans for pediatric patients.

  • Maintain a high standard of patient care and communication, adhering to all medical best practices.


Key Qualifications:



  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree required

  • Active medical license in the state of Texas

  • Board-eligible or board-certified in Pediatrics (preferred)

  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required


Additional Information:



  • Temporary privileges are available for qualified candidates.

  • The estimated credentialing timeframe is ASAP to accommodate immediate coverage needs.
