We are actively searching for a skilled and compassionate physician to join our established team and provide comprehensive care to patients with blood disorders and cancer. This locum tenens position offers a predictable schedule with manageable call requirements, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality hematology and oncology care within a supportive team environment.

What You'll Do:



  • Conduct comprehensive consultations and examinations for patients with blood disorders and cancer.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests to ensure accurate diagnoses.

  • Manage patient care throughout the treatment process, providing ongoing support and education.

  • Document all patient interactions, diagnoses, treatment plans, and interventions thoroughly and efficiently within the Aria electronic medical records system.


Who You Are:



  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with board eligibility in Hematology and Oncology (required).

  • Current and active license to practice medicine in Virginia (required).

  • BLS and ACLS certifications (required).

  • A commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care within a collaborative and team-oriented environment.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize patient care in a busy outpatient setting.
