What You'll Do:



  • Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and consultations for newborns, infants, children, and adolescents within both inpatient and outpatient settings.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for a variety of pediatric conditions.

  • Provide comprehensive care for newborns in the nursery, including monitoring vital signs, managing feeding needs, and performing circumcisions as needed.

  • Respond to phone calls from the emergency department (ED), evaluate patients requiring consultation, and determine the appropriate course of action, including stabilization and transfer for complex cases.

  • Manage inpatients with various pediatric medical needs, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout their hospital stay.

  • Deliver high-quality care to established patients within the pediatric primary clinic setting, focusing on preventive care, immunizations, and management of chronic conditions.

  • Document all patient interactions, diagnoses, treatment plans, and interventions thoroughly and efficiently within the Epic electronic medical records system.


Who You Are:



  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with a current and active license to practice medicine in Missouri (only).

  • Board-certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) (required).

  • Current ACLS and PALS certifications (required).

  • A commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to children and their families in a collaborative and team-oriented environment.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills to manage a diverse caseload and provide comprehensive care for children of all ages.
