We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Obstetrician and Gynecologist for a locum tenens position near Fort Bragg, NC. This role is ideal for a physician looking for a short-term assignment with call-only coverage.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Patient Care: Round on patients, providing comprehensive care during inpatient stays.

  • Clinical Duties: Be on-call for emergent C-sections, vaginal deliveries, and any emergent GYN procedures.

  • High-Risk Deliveries: Manage emergent high-risk deliveries, with transfers to specialized facilities as needed.

  • Support Staff: Collaborate with hospitalist support staff, on-call anesthesiology, and radiology support.

  • Delivery Statistics: Average 27 deliveries monthly, with 11 being C-sections; manage 3 labor rooms and 14 postpartum beds.

  • Certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required.

  • Experience: Must be actively delivering babies, with case logs from the past 24 months.

  • Credentialing: The estimated credentialing timeframe is 10 days.
