Locum Tenens: Pediatric Nephrologist Needed (Near Garfield, WA)


Are you a dedicated and experienced Pediatric Nephrologist seeking a rewarding locum tenens opportunity in a growing community near Garfield, WA? We're actively searching for a skilled physician to join our team and provide vital pediatric nephrology care on a combined scheduled clinical hours and call basis (ASAP - Ongoing).


This locum tenens position offers a unique opportunity to provide both inpatient and outpatient services, with a flexible schedule of one week per month (typically Monday, 8:00 am to Monday, 8:00 am). We welcome applications from both Washington state-licensed physicians and those eligible for Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) privileges.

  • Supportive Team Collaboration: Partner with a dedicated team of pediatricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care for your young ;Our facility is stroke-certified, ensuring access to advanced stroke care when needed.

  • Advanced Technology & Resources: Utilize the user-friendly Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system to enhance efficiency in documentation and communication.

  • Streamlined Credentialing Process (for qualified candidates): We understand the importance of timely care and will work diligently to facilitate temporary privileges for qualified applicants with a clean history (estimated timeframe of 90 days).


Qualifications:



  • Board-certified in Pediatric Nephrology is required.

  • Active medical license in Washington (WA) or eligibility for Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) privileges is mandatory.

  • Current certification in BLS and PALS is essential.

  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a pediatric nephrology setting is preferred.

  • The ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating sound judgment and critical thinking skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

  • A commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality, patient-centered care.
