Locum Tenens Opportunity: Internal Medicine - Hematology/Oncology Physician Near Glidden, WI


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Internal Medicine - Hematology/Oncology Physician for a locum tenens position near Glidden, WI. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who is board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology/Oncology to provide both inpatient and outpatient care in a supportive and well-equipped environment. The position is available immediately and will continue on an ongoing basis.


Position Overview:



  • Profession: Physician

  • Specialty: Internal Medicine - Hematology/Oncology

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • End Date: Ongoing

  • Practice Setting: Both inpatient and outpatient care required

  • EMR System: Cerner


Job Responsibilities:



  • Coverage Type:

    • Scheduled clinical hours plus call

    • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

    • One weekend of call per month, primarily phone calls from Friday night through Monday morning



  • Patient Load:

    • 15-20 patients per shift



  • Practice Details:

    • Typical Hematology/Oncology practice

    • Bone marrow biopsies are optional

    • Equipment: Intellidose TxM




Candidate Requirements:



  • Board Certification:

    • Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology/Oncology



  • Licensure:

    • Active state license is required

    • Temporary privileges are available

    • Licensing costs will not be reimbursed



  • Certifications:

    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required

    • ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) required

    • BLS (Basic Life Support) required



  • Fellowship:

    • Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology is required



  • Credentialing:

    • Estimated credentialing timeframe is 60 days
