Job Details:


Embark on a fulfilling locum tenens experience as an OB/GYN physician in the scenic state of Arizona. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to women's healthcare while enjoying a picturesque environment near LAKE HAVASU CITY, AZ.


Schedule and Preferences:



  • Start Date: ASAP

  • End Date: Ongoing

  • Shift Type: Call Only

  • Call Frequency: 24-hour call coverage

  • Coverage Cycle: 1 week every 7th week

  • Collaboration: Call coverage is shared with another dedicated locum provider


Practice Setting:



  • Setting: Both Inpatient and Outpatient

  • Admissions Required: No

  • Bed in Department: 8

  • Rounding: Both inpatient and outpatient settings

  • EMR System: MEDHOST


Certification and Licensing:



  • Board Certification: Required

  • Minimum Board Certification: Eligible

  • Licensing: Active licenses in AZ preferred

  • ABLS: No

  • ACLS: Yes

  • PALS: Yes

  • BLS: Yes

  • Privileges: Temporary privileges available


Additional Details:



  • Provider Transition: Current provider leaving on April 30th

  • Coverage Commencement: Seeking 24-hour call coverage starting ASAP

  • Collaborative Coverage: Call responsibilities shared with another locum provider

  • Patient Complexity: High-risk and trauma patients may be transferred to a trauma hospital
