We are seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens position near Mineral, Washington. This role is perfect for a dedicated professional ready to work in a fast-paced outpatient ambulatory setting. Schedule and Coverage



  • Start Date: ASAP, as soon as credentialed

  • Coverage: Scheduled shifts with no on-call requirement

  • Shift Details: Day shifts, 8 hours each, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 1-hour unpaid lunch

  • Contract Length: 3 months, with the possibility of extension

  • Weekly Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week


Work Details



  • Practice Setting: Outpatient ambulatory setting

  • Support Staff:

    • Dedicated medical assistant for each provider

    • Receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians

    • Onsite pediatrician and healthcare administrator for support



  • Amount of Coverage Needed: Full-time, 40 hours per week

  • Patients Per Day: Up to 21 patients; the number may vary based on cancellations, but the environment is typically high-volume and fast-paced

  • Patient Population: Newborns to geriatrics; the provider should be comfortable working with all age groups

  • EMR System: EPIC

  • Skills Required:

    • Must be able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision after an initial one-week orientation

    • Expected to begin patient care by day 3 of the assignment




Job Requirements



  • Board Certification: Must be Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Pediatrics

  • License: Active Washington state license required; non-licensed candidates will not be considered

  • DEA: Active Washington DEA required

  • Certifications: Specific certifications, such as BLS and ACLS, may be required and will be discussed during the credentialing process

  • Minimum Experience: Must have a clean background with no malpractice history and experience with the EPIC EMR system
