We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Radiologist/Nuclear Medicine physician with Vascular and Interventional Radiology experience for a locum tenens opportunity near Norton, VA. This position is available from 06-10-2024 to 06-14-2024, with the potential for additional coverage dates.


The ideal candidate will possess basic interventional radiology skills, including thoracentesis and paracentesis, with PICC line insertion preferred. Proficiency in 3D mammography and automated breast ultrasound certification is required. The candidate should also be comfortable interpreting whole-body MRI scans.


Responsibilities include performing general nuclear medicine procedures such as VA, HIDA, and bone scans, along with PET/CT scans. The total number of exams ranges from 130 to 175, depending on ED volume, including 25-35 CT scans, 7-10 MRIs, 12-15 mammographies, and 15 ultrasounds.
