We are actively searching for a skilled and experienced physician to join our team and provide long-term supplemental support for our growing cancer care program. This locum tenens position offers a predictable schedule with call requirements, allowing you to balance patient care with personal time.

- Predictable Schedule with Call: Enjoy a full-time schedule with Monday-Friday clinic hours and call responsibilities occurring at least every third weekend, allowing you to manage your workload effectively.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct comprehensive consultations and evaluations for adult patients with blood disorders and cancers.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, considering the unique needs of each patient.
- Manage complex medical conditions, including chemotherapy administration, blood product transfusions, and supportive care measures.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, monitor patient responses to treatment, and adjust care plans as needed.
- Provide ongoing patient education and support regarding hematologic and oncologic conditions, treatment options, and side effect management.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient and coordinated care delivery for patients with hematologic and oncologic needs.
- Document all patient interactions, diagnoses, treatment plans, and interventions thoroughly and efficiently within the Epic electronic medical records system.
Who You Are:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with a current and active license to practice medicine (no state restrictions mentioned).
- Board-certified in Internal Medicine with a subspecialty certification in Hematology and Oncology (preferred).
- Fellowship training in Hematology-Oncology (highly preferred).
- Current ACLS certification (required).
- A commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to adult patients with complex hematologic and oncologic conditions.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills to manage a diverse caseload and provide comprehensive care.
- Experience with stress testing (preferred).
