Locum Tenens Hematologist/Oncologist Needed Near Oak Harbor, WA
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hematologist/Oncologist for a locum tenens position near Oak Harbor, WA. This position is a result of the need for supplemental coverage in a busy practice and offers a combination of outpatient and inpatient care. The role involves managing a diverse patient panel, providing high-quality care to those with various hematologic and oncologic conditions.

Requirements:
- Board Certification: Required

- Licensing Requirement: Licensed in WA or eligible for IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact)
- Privileges: Provider requires hospital/surgery center privileges

- Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days

Practice Details:
- Work Schedule: Full-time availability is preferred, with a flexible schedule to cover both clinical hours and call
- Patient Panel: Focused on hematology/oncology, including conditions such as chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), lymphoma, acute leukemias, myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), and benign hematology
- Treatment Modalities: Experience with autologous stem cell transplant and CAR T cell therapy is preferred
- Chemotherapy Administration: Conducted in an outpatient setting at a centralized treatment center by infusion
- Research/Clinical Trials: A critical component of the practice; experience in this area is preferred
