An exceptional opportunity awaits a BC/BE Pediatrician to become a full-time partner in a thriving outpatient pediatric practice situated near ORLAND, IN. The community-focused practice, known as "Pediatric Health Care," is dedicated to providing comprehensive pediatric services, emphasizing a small-town approach to healthcare.


Practice Dynamics:




  • Collaborative Team: Work alongside one other full-time Pediatrician and a Nurse Practitioner, with potential plans for the addition of another pediatrician, resulting in a team of three full-time physicians. The collaborative environment ensures comprehensive patient care and shared responsibilities.




  • Specialist Support: Benefit from readily available Pediatric Hospitalists/PICU and Neonatologists/NICU for consultations, fostering a supportive network for complex cases and consultations.




  • Flexible Call Schedule: Enjoy a flexible call schedule with a commitment to equitable distribution (1 in 3). The aim is to create a supportive environment where all physicians share the call responsibility.




  • Inpatient and Outpatient Focus: The ideal candidate will be open to both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, encompassing rounding and attending to challenging situations, especially related to newborn care.




  • Hospital Duties: Engage in a variety of hospital duties, including managing healthy newborn visits, addressing non-critical transient problems in the neonatal period, handling routine acute illness admissions for pediatric patients, and providing support during C-sections or vaginal deliveries when requested by OB.
