Locum Tenens Urology Physician Needed: Provide Weekend & Weekday Call Coverage (j-232124)


Are you a board-certified urologist seeking a dynamic locum tenens opportunity in a growing community near Orting, Washington? We're actively searching for a skilled and experienced physician to provide essential call coverage for our established urology practice. What this Opportunity Offers:




  • Supplemental Income & Flexible Schedule:



    • Earn supplemental income by providing call coverage two weekends per month and an additional 5-8 weekdays.

    • This on-call role allows you to manage your schedule and commitments outside of work ;Major holidays are observed, including New Year's Day, Independence Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.




  • Seamless Technology: Leverage your familiarity with Epic, the EMR system used at the practice.




  • Supportive Environment: Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals committed to patient care.




  • Key Responsibilities:



    • Be available by beeper call to address patient needs that arise after regular clinic hours, on weekends, and during holidays.

    • Evaluate the need for in-person evaluation or surgical intervention.

    • Provide timely and appropriate telephone consultations or arrange for patients to be seen in the hospital if necessary.

    • Work collaboratively with the on-site healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.

    • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records within the Epic EMR system (credentialing permitting).




  • Qualifications for Success:



    • Board certification in Urology is ;Fellowship training is preferred.

    • Valid medical license in Washington state or eligibility for licensure through the Interstate Medical License Compact (IMLC).

    • Current BLS certification to demonstrate your commitment to patient safety.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and colleagues.

    • The ability to make sound clinical decisions under time pressure is essential.

    • Experience in a call coverage role is a plus.
