Locum Tenens Opportunity: Oncology/Hematology Physician

Shift Description:
- BID Due Date: April 22, 2024, @ 3:00 PM EST
- Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM; Friday, 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM (Remote Triage)
- Clinic Setting: No Trauma/Not Rated
Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Oncology/Hematology Physician to join our team at a newly opened hematology/oncology clinic near PARKER, CO. This clinic offers a dedicated chemotherapy treatment space for patients, along with comprehensive cancer care services including breast surgery and radiation oncology. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our subspecialty practice while providing compassionate care to patients with hematologic and oncologic diagnoses.
Job Details:
- Provider Need: One full-time provider, but open to two.
- Responsibilities: Clinic coverage and chemotherapy supervision four days per week.
- FTE:
- Required Procedures/Job Duties: Treatment of hematologic and medical oncology diagnoses, including chemotherapy supervision and clinic coverage. Building and growing the subspecialty practice.
- EMR: Epic
- Support Staff: Medical Assistants (MA) and Registered Nurses (RN)
- Reason for Coverage: New Clinic - Currently Recruiting Permanent Physician
Requirements:
- Board Certification: Board certification in Medical Oncology is required.
- State License: Active Colorado license or IMLC (Letter of Qualification in hand at the time of submission) is mandatory.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA certifications are required.
- Local Candidates: Only local/drive-in candidates will be considered.
- Hematology Experience: Candidates must be comfortable and willing to see Hematology patients (Must note at name clear).
- Availability: Providers must state the number of shifts per month they can offer to the site.
- Clean Background: Clean malpractice/background check is required.
