Join a highly regarded healthcare team near Perry, MI, dedicated to providing exceptional orthopedic care. We are seeking a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join our dynamic environment and enhance our specialized services.


Position Highlights:



  • Location: Near Perry, MI

  • Type: Locum Tenens

  • Specialty: Orthopedic Trauma Surgery

  • Compensation: Competitive salary based on MGMA standards, with potential for RVU-based incentives.

  • Work Schedule: Days with on-call responsibilities (approximately 4 calls per month).


Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative care for patients with polytrauma, acute fractures, complex joint injuries, and other musculoskeletal traumas.

  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a seamless patient experience.

  • Utilize advanced technology, including the Stryker MAKO robot, for minimally invasive total joint replacement surgeries.

  • Participate in ongoing education and training opportunities, including an educational stipend during fellowship year.


Candidate Requirements:



  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS).

  • Fellowship-trained in Orthopedic Trauma.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in orthopedic trauma preferred.

  • Licensure: Active Michigan medical license (or in process of obtaining).
