• Coverage Duration: 5-10 days/month, Ongoing


• Practice Team: 1 Physician, 2 Nurse Practitioners (NPs)

Practice Details:

• Reason for Coverage: Additional physician needed for inpatient coverage


• Setting: Inpatient/Hospital-Based


• Dates of Coverage: 5-10 days per month


• Number of Urologists in Group: 1 MD (provides inpatient support), 2 APRNs (ambulatory/clinic based only)


• Labs & X-rays: Onsite

Responsibilities:

The locum Urologist will play a crucial role in supporting the existing team by:

• Covering the call schedule for urology 2-3 weekends per month


• Handling on-call responsibilities


• Taking consults


• Rounding on urology service patients


• Performing necessary procedures and surgeries

Procedures:

• General Urology


• Advanced Endoscopic Techniques


• Ureteroscopy


• Laser Certification

Additional Information:

• The NPs do not provide inpatient support.


• The employed physician does not currently perform robotic procedures but is equipped with 3 robots, accommodating a urologist with that skillset if needed.

Submission Requirements:

• Board Certification: REQUIRED


• Board Eligibility: Considered


• State License: Kentucky - Preferred, willing to accept providers needing to obtain license


• Certifications: BLS/ACLS - REQUIRED; Flu Shot - Required; COVID Vaccination - Highly preferred
