Full-Time Position in Patient-Centered Pulmonary Critical Care Practice


Join a compassionate healthcare team as a Pulmonary Critical Care Physician near SAINT PAUL, IN. This full-time, hospital-employed position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our Critical Care practice in the ICU. Be part of a team that prioritizes patient-centered care, utilizes advanced technology, and has been recognized for its technological excellence.


Position Details:



  • Position Type: Full-time, hospital-employed position as a Pulmonary Critical Care Physician.

  • Patient-Centered Care: Contribute to a patient-centered and empathetic Critical Care practice, focused on Pulmonary Critical Care in the ICU.

  • Work Schedule: Follow a unique Friday-Friday schedule with 12-hour days, working one week on and one week off.

  • On-Call Responsibilities: On-call during your week on shift, from 7 to 7 , ensuring continuous coverage and support.

  • Patient Census: Manage an average patient census in the ICU ranging from 7-10 patients.

  • ICU Structure: Work in an opened ICU, fostering a collaborative and dynamic care environment.

  • Team Composition: Collaborate with one physician, 5 advanced providers, and support staff including RNs, Nursing Assistants, RT, Case Management, and Office Staff.

  • New Ultrasound: Benefit from a brand new Ultrasound, enhancing diagnostic capabilities in 2023.

  • Smart Room Technology: Utilize brand new Smart Rooms compatible with EPIC, contributing to the facility's recognition in the Most Wired awards in 2022.

  • Educational Environment: Engage with Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students on-site, promoting a collaborative learning atmosphere.


Qualifications:



  • Board Certification: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care.

  • Experience: Open to newly trained fellows and practicing physicians.

  • Licensure: Possess an Indiana Medical License.

  • Certifications: Maintain BLS/ACLS certifications.


Schedule Details:



  • Rotation: Follow a 1-week on, 1-week off rotating schedule, providing a structured work-life balance.
