Key Responsibilities:



  • Clinical Coverage:

    • Provide Emergency Department (ED) coverage from 1 to 9 , Monday through Friday.

    • Manage an average of 30 patients per day in the clinic, ensuring high-quality care for all.

    • Collaborate with ED physicians and ED registered nurses to deliver patient-centered care.



  • Patient Management:

    • Oversee both inpatient and outpatient cases, although the primary setting is outpatient.

    • Handle an average of three admissions per shift, working efficiently within a team-oriented environment.

    • Utilize the Meditech EMR system for all charting and documentation, maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.




Practice Details:




  • Certification and Licensure:



    • Board Certification/Eligibility: Required for all applicants.

    • Licensure: Must be licensed in Michigan; no reimbursement for licensing fees.

    • Certifications: BLS certification is required; ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS are not necessary.

    • Credentialing Timeframe: The estimated timeframe is 30 days, so a prompt application is encouraged.




  • Facility Support:



    • The facility requires a reliable NP or PA to fill gaps due to vacations, time off, and other scheduling needs.

    • The setting does not involve call duty, allowing you to focus solely on clinical hours.
