This locum tenens opportunity offers a long-term assignment for a qualified Obstetrics and Gynecology physician near Watton, MI. The position begins on 08-02-2024 and continues indefinitely. The provider will be responsible for scheduled clinical hours, including outpatient and inpatient care, with call duties.


The facility is open to accepting multiple providers and requires hospital/surgery center privileges. Admissions are expected, with an average of 3 patients per shift and 4 beds in the department. Rounding duties will encompass both outpatient and inpatient settings.


Candidates must be board-certified physicians licensed in Michigan and hold certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS. While a fellowship is preferred, board certification is a minimum requirement.


This position entails replacing a full-time provider and requires flexibility in scheduling to accommodate daytime and nighttime call, office duties, and possibly operating room responsibilities. Collaboration with other providers in the group is essential, with open discussions and planning encouraged.
