This unique position offers the chance to make a significant impact while honing your clinical skills in a supportive environment: Inpatient Focus: Provide critical care for hospitalized pediatric patients within a 5-bed unit. Call Coverage: Embrace the challenge of ensuring round-the-clock patient care through a call system with an average of 2 patient consultations per shift. Collaborative Environment: Work alongside a team of skilled healthcare professionals, including fellow physicians and nurses, to deliver optimal patient outcomes. Streamlined Workflow: Utilize the familiar Athena electronic medical record system for documentation and patient management. Temporary Commitment: This locum tenens position offers a flexible assignment to address a short-term staffing need (August 2nd to August 5th, 2024), with the possibility of ongoing opportunities. We Value Your Expertise: We are seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Pediatrician who possesses a valid medical license in the state of Michigan. Current certifications in BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NRP are mandatory. While fellowship training is preferred, it is not a strict requirement for this particular opportunity. We are happy to reimburse the vendor for any costs associated with licensing. Temporary privileges are available to facilitate a smooth onboarding process.
