This is an ongoing opportunity until fully staffed, offering expedited privileges for qualified candidates with a clean malpractice record. Specialty/Job Information:



  • Specialty Required: OBGYN

  • Average Daily Census: Approximately 4100 cases annually

  • Annual Births/Deliveries: 5400

  • C-Section Rate: 34%

  • Shift Responsibilities and Procedures:

    • Responsibilities include unassigned deliveries, assisting with c-sections, covering OB triage visits in the Emergency Department, and providing delivery assistance.

    • All typical OB/GYN procedures required.

    • Must be comfortable with both OB and Gyn procedures/surgeries.



  • Daily Patient Load per Clinician: Average of 11 cases per day for OB/GYN

  • PICU or NICU Level: Level III NICU and Level III Plus


Requirements:



  • Medical License State: KY - Required

  • Board Certified Required: Yes

  • Board Eligible Accepted: No

  • Other Certification Requirements: ACLS, NRP, DEA, Boarded OB/GYN with 5 years+ experience


Shift Information:



  • Shift Coverage Model: 1 physician in-house 24/7

  • Shift Times: From 7:00 am to 7:00 am (12 hours regular + 12 hours call)

  • Call Required: No

  • Details: Physicians are in-house 24 hours per day, every day of the week

  • Weekend Required: No

  • Minimum Number of Shifts per Month: 5 shifts in a row

  • Temporary Coverage Available: Yes
