Are you a skilled and experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) seeking a locum tenens opportunity that offers a predictable schedule, manageable call, and the chance to work with minimal supervision in a supportive environment near Alexandria, Indiana? We are actively searching for a dedicated CRNA to collaborate with our team of physicians and deliver exceptional anesthesia services to our patients.


This exciting position allows you to leverage your expertise in a well-equipped facility and contribute to a fast-paced surgical setting:



  • Structured Schedule with Call: Maintain a consistent work-life balance with weekday hours from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Manage call responsibilities every 3rd night from 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM with a 20-minute response time. OB call is required during call shifts.

    • Optional Late Room Coverage (M-F, Excl. Wed): Extend your weekday hours with the opportunity for Late Room coverage from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (excluding Wednesdays, which are 10-hour shifts).



  • Independent Practice: Work with minimal supervision from experienced MDs, fostering a collaborative team spirit.

  • Diverse Caseload: Deliver anesthesia care across a wide range of specialties, including:

    • Endoscopy

    • Obstetrics

    • Pediatrics

    • Urology

    • ENT

    • General Surgery

    • Gynecology

    • Orthopedics



  • Proficiency in Techniques: Demonstrate expertise in performing spinals, blocks, and epidurals.

  • Streamlined Credentialing (for Temps): Temporary positions are available for CRNAs with a clear background/malpractice history and an active, unrestricted license. Credentialing for permanent positions typically takes approximately 60-90 days.

  • Detailed Case Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records with the efficient Cerner electronic medical record system.

  • Supportive Team Environment: Integrate into a team of 3 providers working across 4 operating rooms.

  • Advanced Life Support Certifications: Hold current certifications required by the state, including potentially BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

  • Vaccination Required: Be up-to-date on vaccinations, with accommodations for religious or medical exemptions.

  • Specific Licensure Requirements: Hold a valid Indiana Controlled Substances Registration (CS) and a Permit to Conduct a Facility (PCF) license.
