  • Immediate Impact and Schedule Flexibility:
    Address a critical need for CRNA coverage, ensuring continuity of care for patients undergoing surgery in our 11-room main operating room suite and 2 additional ambulatory surgery center operating rooms. We offer a variety of schedule options (8, 10, or 12-hour shifts) to accommodate your preferences, with full-time availability from August 9th through January 6th (including full-time stretches and some block scheduling). Be prepared to adapt to a computer-generated schedule that meets the facility's needs.




  • Diverse Caseload:
    Expand your experience by providing anesthesia for a wide range of surgical procedures, including orthopedics, trauma, general surgery, spine surgery, neurology, cardiac catheterization, ambulatory procedures, and endoscopy.




  • Supportive Work Environment:
    Work alongside a team of dedicated surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in a collaborative setting. Utilize Cerner and SaAnesthesia, the electronic medical records systems used at the facility.




  • Key Responsibilities:



    • Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement safe and effective anesthesia plans for patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures.

    • Administer various anesthetic medications and monitor patients throughout the surgical process, ensuring their well-being and safety.

    • Document patient care accurately and efficiently within the Cerner and SaAnesthesia electronic medical records systems.

    • Participate in pre-operative assessments and post-operative care as needed.

    • Maintain a strong focus on patient safety and communication with all members of the surgical team.




  • Qualifications for Success:



    • Current national certification as a CRNA (CRNA) is mandatory.

    • Valid and active registered nurse (RN) license and CRNA license in the state of Arizona or a willingness to obtain an Interstate Medical License Compact (IMLC) is required. We are not seeking willingness to relocate or obtain additional licensure at this time.

    • Current certification in BLS or ACLS is mandatory.

    • Experience using Cerner and SaAnesthesia, the electronic medical records systems used at the facility, is preferred.

    • Recent hospital experience providing anesthesia care is required.

    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, surgeons, and staff.

    • The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment is crucial.

    • Flexibility to adapt to a computer-generated schedule is essential.
