Locum Tenens Opportunity: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)



  • Profession: CRNA

    • M-F, 6:30am-3pm with 30 min unpaid lunch - flexibility required




Position Details:



  • Default Rate Type: Hourly

  • Emergency/Temp Privileges: No

  • Duration of Assignment: As soon as credentialed - ongoing, through 2024

  • Credentialing Timeframe: 30-60 days

  • Schedule: Flexible hours, approximately M-F, 6:30am-3pm with 30 min unpaid lunch

  • Call: Yes, rotation between 3 providers, mostly OB

  • EMR: Cerner

  • Independence: Must work independently and be confident in skills


Patient Care Details:



  • Patients per day: Varies

  • Scope of Practice Needed:

    • General Anesthesia:

      • Cardiac

      • Thoracic

      • Neurosurgical: Cranial

      • Neurosurgical: Spine

      • Pediatrics

      • Trauma

      • OB



    • Regional Anesthesia:

      • Epidural

      • Spinal Anesthesia

      • Interscalene/Supraclavicular

      • Axillary

      • Femoral/Adductor Canal Block

      • Popliteal

      • Sciatic Block

      • Ankle Block

      • TAP Block



    • Anesthesia Skills:

      • Central Line Placement and Management

      • PA Catheter

      • Arterial Line Placement and Management

      • TEE Placement and Management

      • Ultrasound - Regional Blocks - Line Placement

      • Pain Management

      • Ventilation Management






Credentialing Requirements:



  • NBCRNA: Required

  • Active IA License: Highly Preferred

  • Local Candidates: Highly Preferred

  • Clean Malpractice/Background: Highly Preferred

  • Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, CSR, DEA

  • COVID-19 Vaccination: Required
