Seeking an Experienced CRNA for Full-Time Position
Are you a dedicated and highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) passionate about providing exceptional patient care? This full-time position offers a flexible schedule with no call requirements, starting as soon as credentialing is complete.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe and effective anesthesia care for a diverse patient population undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures.
- Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments, develop anesthesia plans, and administer anesthetics as needed.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and physiological functions throughout surgery, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care.
- Manage post-operative pain management and recovery.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records within the EPIC electronic medical record system.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in anesthesia practices and participate in ongoing professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Michigan (MI) license or eligibility for licensure through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) is required.
- Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is mandatory.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical anesthesia setting is preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, decision-making skills, and a comprehensive knowledge base in anesthesia.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and healthcare teams in a high-pressure environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality patient care.
