Seeking Experienced CRNAs for Locum Tenens Coverage (ASAP - Ongoing)
Are you a highly motivated and experienced CRNA seeking a locum tenens opportunity in a dynamic healthcare setting near Gladstone, IL? We are seeking qualified candidates to join our team and provide anesthesia services across a variety of surgical specialties.
About the Opportunity:
- Flexible Schedule: This locum tenens position offers both day and evening shift options, with hours ranging from 7 am to 7 pm or 7 pm to 7 am.
- Diverse Case Mix: Gain experience in a wide range of surgical cases, including pediatrics, general surgery, orthopedics, urology, ophthalmology, ENT, plastics, podiatry, cardiac, vascular surgery, pain management, and gynecology.
- Collaboration and Support: Work within a supportive medical supervision model alongside a team of 13 experienced CRNAs in a 4-OR facility with dedicated endoscopy and cardiovascular rooms.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe and effective anesthesia care according to evidence-based practices for a variety of surgical procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform spinal anesthesia, nerve blocks, and epidural procedures with proficiency.
- Maintain accurate case logs and documentation.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in anesthesia practices and patient care.
Qualifications:
- Current national certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
- Active Illinois state licensure.
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
- Minimum two years of experience in a hospital setting providing anesthesia services.
- Proficient in performing spinal anesthesia, nerve blocks, and epidural procedures.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
- Must be able to meet COVID-19 vaccination requirements (religious and medical exemptions may be considered).
