Locum Tenens Opportunity: CRNA (Anesthesia)



  • Specialty: Anesthesia

  • Assignment: Full Time

  • Shift Type: Varied


Assignment Details:



  • Shift Times: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm or 5:30 pm (Monday to Friday), 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (Weekends if ever needed, but very rare)

  • Duration: June to September

  • FTE Need: 4

  • Lunch Break: 30 minutes unpaid lunch included in the shift

  • Setting: Hospital-based


Overview:


We are seeking 2 additional full-time CRNAs to join our team and provide anesthesia coverage from June to September. Upon completion of the assignment, there is an opportunity to continue coverage at our hospital.


Duties:



  • EMR: Epic

  • Supervision: Medical direction care team model

  • Average Surgical Cases per Day: 80-100

  • Trauma Level: 2

  • Facility Features: 3 minor procedure rooms, 6 endo suites, 20 ORs

  • Patient Demographics: All ages, including healthy pediatric cases. Must be comfortable with pediatric patients.

  • Case Mix: Orthopedic, GI, Vascular, Gynecology, Neurology, Orthopedic trauma, Acute trauma, ENT, healthy pediatrics, and robotics.


Additional Details:



  • Large variety of general and complex cases.

  • Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days from the time of application submission.


Qualifications:



  • NBCRNA Certification: Required

  • Active MI License or IMLC: Required

  • BLS Certification: Required

  • COVID Vaccine: Required (Note at the time of name clearance)

  • Full-Time Availability: Required

  • Semi-Local Candidates: Highly Preferred to avoid flight costs


Certification and License Requirements:



  • Certification: BLS, Board Certified

  • State License: Michigan
