Care team model - 1:4 Medical Direction
23 CRNAs/8 MDS
Case Mix: general, ortho, OB (MDs do and manage OB epidurals), Endo (4th largest volume in the state), ENT & Pedi Dental,
26,000 cases/year (excluding OB), Endo makes up 10k of that volume
Call: Weekday - 1:6, with PCDO
Pager from home, but if epi running they have to stay in house, otherwise it's a 30 min call back radius
Doc doing OB and supervising OR call -
Call is 24 hour, work the day prior to taking overnight call
OB is most common for callback
Call: Weekend - Fri/Sun or Sat call (not whole weekend)
Fri/Sun combination call gets PCDO
Will work 1 Sat/Sun month & there will be 3-4 times a year where you work 2 weekends/month
Will be on Epic summer 2021
